Why participate in research?

Our studies utilizes Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) to incorporate the patient experience and voice in our research. PROMs have grown in popularity over the last decade, highlighting the value of integrating the patient perspective into research to improve quality of healthcare (Churruca et al., 2021). Using PROMs is valuable for many reasons, most importantly for gaining insight into the perspectives of the patients that cannot be obtained from objective data (Kluzek et al., 2022).

Patient involvement and continued support to our studies and those alike allows for us to continually improve the quality and efficacy of the care we provide, leading to greater outcomes for all.
