One of the lab goals is to provide accessible and adequate knowledge translation to patients. Knowledge translation aims to bridge the gap between complex medical terminology and patient comprehension. Oftentimes medical language can be hard to comprehend and very foreign to the patient. Creating and distributing knowledge in an accessible language, ensuring that patients can grasp information about their health and treatment options with ease is extremely important to us. By employing clear explanations, relatable examples, and visual aids, we aim to empower patients to make informed decisions about their care. Effective knowledge translation not only enhances patient understanding but also fosters trust and collaboration between healthcare providers and those under their care.
